New Roads - Inland bypass, with tunnels, for Santa Cruz de La Palma - new LD20 road. Southern bypass for Los Llanes de Aridane, including roundabouts, where the newly renumbered LP1, LP2 and LP3 main roads converge. New roundabouts at El Paso (ready for its southern bypass) and Taburiente Visitors Centre.

New Road Numbering - In 2009 the island government comprehensively renumbered the roads, not always logically, and including redesignating a secondary road as the main LP2 road while downgrading the original LP2 to be the LP206. All new road numbers and routes are included in our 2010 2nd Edition.

Gran Recorrido (GR) Walking Routes - Full routes for the GR130 'Round the Island' eight day hike totalling 144.8 kilometres, and the GR130 'Route of the Mountains' three day hike totalling 66.1 kilometres.

Pequeno Recorrido (PR) Walking Routes - Full routes for the 36 PR day walks which range from 5 kilometres up to 23.6 kilometres in length.

Total GR and PR walking routes of 619.4 kilometres clearly highlighted on our 2010 2nd Edition - 619.4 kms is the total horizontal projection of these official routes.
