Specification

Scale 1:40,000 2.5cms = 1km. Incorporates 1 minute Latitude Longtitude grid with WGS84 datum. 50 & 100 metre contours, height and trig points in metres. All published walking routes from Walk! Mallorca North & Mountains 3rd edition, Walk! Mallorca West and GR221 Mallorca's Dry Stone Way are clearly highlighted.

Produced as a double-sided map sheet our 5th Edition has been expanded westwards to Paguera, each side is now 104cm by 60cm. The map is folded to a pocketable 24cm by 13cm.
Major changes incorporated in our 5th Edition compared to the 4th edition are:-
- new Western mapping between Esporles and Paguera
- inclusion of the GR221 official walking route along with Charles Davis' optional alternative stages for the GR221
- gps waypoints from our books now only appear on the map sections in the books.
Important changes include our usual updating of Walk! walking routes and new roads, new road numbering, roundabouts, etc.

Quite simply this is the largest, most detailed map of northern Mallorca that you can buy - we said that for our 4th Edition but it is even more applicable to the 5th Edition which is 22% bigger than the edition it replaces. Mallorca is far too big for a single sheet large scale map, so we have selected the Serra de Tramantana and northern coast stretching from Esporles to Cap Formentor; that applied for our 1st to 4th Editions but now we go westwards as far as Paguera. This expanded region now contains over 90% of all the Mallorca walks from UK publishers.
Whichever guide book you are using (we hope you choose DWG) this map will help you plan routes covering the walking regions of the island. Quite simply the 'definitive' map for the region.

'Super-Durable' at £8.99, or 'Paper' at £5.99? Why pay £3.00 more for 'Super-Durable'?
Just ask anyone who has used one of our 'Super-Durable' maps what they think. They'll all tell you to go for 'Super-Durable' because it will shrug off just about anything you can throw at it; spilt drinks, just mop them up and wipe down the map with a wet cloth, rain-hail-snow then use the map as a waterproof cape/shelter, wet ground just put down the map and sit on it.
