25 Forts Ancient & Modern. The hippies have gone as the military have re-occupied Lluc al Lari and now bar access to the public. What a shame this coastal fort and best cliff-top position in Menorca is now lost to us.
28 Migjorn Gran to Sant Tomas. Our route has two finish options but we have reports that the Eastern route, waypoints E1-3, now faces locked gates requiring wall climbing assisted by piles of stones. For an easy stroll stick with the western route finishing outside Sol Menorca Hotel - our base when on the island!

Choose your accommodation carefully, our choice would be a hotel in Sant Tomas or Cala Galdana, and you can look forward to a memorable vacation. Buses are frequent but for more freedom and to reach the remote regions you will need a hire car. Roads are good and quiet, but expect the usual town parking problems in Ciutadella and Mao (Mahon)!
Menorca is blissfully free of "Clubbers" and "Lager Louts" making it an ideal destination for everyone else!
